The Centro de Ingeniería Genética y Biotecnología (CIGB) is a institution devoted to research in modern biotechnology making an extensive use of recombinant DNA techniques, protein engineering and modeling. CIGB is the Cuban National Node of EMBnet providing the Cuban scientific comunity with DNA and protein sequence analysis services and training.
