ISCB student & posdoc members travel funding.

ISCB students and posdoctoral members can apply for travel funding. As the funding amount is very limited, it may not be possible to support all applications.

The funding will support travel funding (round trip airplane tickets).

Deadline for applying for ISCB travel funding is: September 25th.

In order to be awarded with the ISCB travel funding, applicant attendees must fulfill this criteria:

1. Should present a poster or oral presentation at the conference ***
2. Should be a current member of ISCB.
3. The ISCB member should send an e-mail to bojorque@ccg.unam.mx attaching a PDF file with the following characteristics:

  • Include a statement indicating that he/she is asking for the ISCB travel fellowship.
  • Include a short statement explaining why participating in the conference is important for the applicant's scientific development.
  • File-name should contain the author's last name followed by the text "_ISCB-travel.pdf" (e.g. "Ramirez_ISCB-travel.pdf"
  • e-mail's subject should be equal as the file name.

4. Due that the conference will take place in an all-inclusive resort, all participants should stay at the Paradisus Riviera Cancun Resort, so applicants should make hotel reservations by themselves.

ISCB will confirm membership status for selection purposes and jointly coordinate awardees' notifications and distribution of funds according to the Scientific Committee abstract selection process.
